How do I initiate sex instead of asking my husband for it?

I am a very quiet shy person in general, especially when it comes to sex. I don't like to initiate things a lot, but when I do, I generally ask my husband for sex. My husband and I have talked about it and he wants me to be more aggressive and initiate sex instead of asking.

How do I do that?
